Building again...
This is my start of something new.

Rediscovering Momentum
In the past several years, I feel like I’ve caught a new wind in my learning journey. For many years, I worked in the support side of tech, helping others solve real-world problems. That time was valuable. In this industry, you’re never really standing still. There’s always something new to pick up or a challenge that pushes you out of your comfort zone. Tech always has something new to teach you, no matter what your role looks like.
Every Step Was a Building Block
Gradually, I nudged my career towards where I wanted it to be: into application analysis and software development. Each step, even the smallest, helped me rekindle my passion for software engineering. The experience and skills I picked up along the way have proved to be building blocks for where I am right now.
The Journey Continues
Today, my journey has brought me onto a data engineering team. It’s a space where curiosity, problem-solving, and creativity go hand in hand. Every day, I’m tackling new challenges, learning tools and techniques, and finding ways to turn complex data into something meaningful.
Honestly, I think I appreciate learning and building things much more now than I did when I was starting out. Maybe back then I was distracted, or just didn’t know how to focus my energy. Now, I’m excited to dive into new areas, keep my learning streak alive, and start sharing what I build. I want to put my work (and sometimes the messy process behind it) out in the open.
If you’re interested in this kind of journey, I’d love for you to come along.
I’m learning new things, I’m building again.
